Description
RUSKINGTON CHAPEL STREET TF 05 SE (north side) 4/48 Nos 4 and 6, The Close GV II House, now 2 cottages. Late C18. Red brick with ashlar dressings. Pantile roof with a single ridge and 2 gable brick stacks. Ashlar coped gables and white brick plinth. 2-storey. 4-bay. Off-centre doorway with 6 fielded panel door, with Gothick tracery overlight, under a wooden bracketed hood. To the left a single, and to the right two, 3-light sliding sashes with flat ashlar lintels and raised keystones. Above 4 similar windows, that over the doorway now blocked, and to the right a small C20 casement. Listing NGR: TF0823151068
