Description
SK 98 SE HACKTHORN HALL DRIVE 1/20 The Old Barn G.V. II Barn. C18 with C19 alterations and additions. Coursed limestone rubble with pantile roof. Single storey, with attached cross wing which must be a remnant of the earlier Hackthorn Hall. Irregular 3 bay front with central full height opening flanked by single breather slits with beyond to the left a C19 planked door and 2 light sliding sash, both with timber lintels. Interior has C18 clasped purlin roof and original ties. Attached to the barn is a further C18 3 bay wing to the side and a lower C19 3 bay stable wing to the rear. This has a central stable door flanked by single glazing bar lights with seymental heads. The C18 range at the rear has tall C20 double doors with to left a C19 door with overlight and to right a hinged glazing bar window. Listing NGR: SK9920282404
