Description
TF 03 NW HEYDOUR MAIN STREET (north side) Oasby 3/19 Houblon Arms Public House II Public house; c.1700 with minor C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and brick dressing; single gable and ridge brick stacks, concrete tile roof.Single storey with attics, 3 bay plus 2 bay, with right end 2 bays slightly higher and end bay turned into gabled cross wing. Central C20 door with timber lintel, to left C20 2 light glazing bar casements, to right two 3-light glazing bar Yorkshire sashes. All ground floor windows have timber lintels and C20 shutters. In gable above is a 3 light glazing bar Yorkshire sash with brick segmental head. In the roof at eaves level are three 2-light divided Yorkshire sashes, 2 with lead cheeks and flat roofs and one with gabled roof. Listing NGR: TF0035439116
