Description
TA 10 NW GREAT LIMBER BROCKLESBY PARK 5/105 Great Limber Lodge 1-11-66 G.V. II Lodge, 1789, yellow brick with ashlar dressings, hipped slate roof with lead dressings, 2 brick ridge stacks. Rectangular 2 storey block raised, with flanking single storey pavilions, 5 bays on ground floor, 3 above. Before the main block is a hetrastyle portico with baseless Tuscan columns and behind 2 similar columns in antis at either end. The pavilions each have decorative bands above the windows; all three blocks have parapets. Central half glazed panelled door, flanked by single glazing bar sashes with, beyond, single square similar windows. On the first floor of the main block are 3 further square glazing bar sashes. All windows have flat rubbed brick arches. Above the portico are 3 later terracotta urns. Listing NGR: TA1323308732
