COUNTHORPE AND CREETON CHURCH LANE TF 0l NW (south side) 9/111 Cross shaft on south side of Church of St.Peter, 6 yds from south doorway G.V. I Cross shaft. C10 with C11 reworking. Ashlar. Tapering square shaft decorated with panels of 2 strand interlace on 3 sides. The fourth has been recut C11 to form 2 roundels linked by a cable moulded bar which separates sunk panels containing crosses saltire matching the decoration within the circles.
