Description
LUTTON LOWGATE TF 42 NW (north side) 2/70 Stable block at Lutton House G.V. II Stable block. Early C19, C20 alterations. Red brick with painted ashlar dressings. Hipped slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Single central round arched doorway with plank door, either side are single deep set round arched windows each with single glazing bar casement and blind over panel. Further right and left are single carriage archways under basket arches, that to the right with plank double doors, that to the left blocked. All ground floor openings with painted ashlar keystones and impost blocks. Above are 4 segmental arched openings with plank shutters, to the right is a single similar opening with 2 light casement.
