Description
HEIGHINGTON BECKSIDE TF 0270-0370 10/24 Beckside Cottage and attached farm buildings - II Cottage. Late C18, raised early C19. Red brick and coursed limestone rubble. Pentile roof with 2 red brick gable stacks. 2 storey. South front, 3 bay, with central doorway and wooden gabled porch, flanked by single glazing bar sashes with segment heads. Above 2 small sashes to eaves. To right an altered single storey wing with flat asphalt roof and 2 C20 casements. To the left a small brick fronted barn, with central double plank doors, and beyond a rubble stone, single storey range of staples and cartsheds, with a single plank door, then a plank stable door and open cartsheds with cast iron columns.
