Description
1. 1671 ST PAUL'S STREET (South Side) No 31 TF 0307 1/310 22.5.54. II GV 2. Second half of C18. 3 storeys in ashlar. Parapet with 3 panels, plinth. 3 windows, double-hung sashes with glazing bars in moulded shouldered architraves with triple keystones, panelled door with rectangular fanlight at East end of the front in similar architrave, and inset, with carved panelling. 3 stone steps and simple curved iron hand rail to right. Good moulded eaves cornice. Sun fire plaque of 18O2. Brazenose College Gate, and retaining walls, and 2 barns to the east of No 28, Brazenosee School House, and Nos 30 to 33 (consec) form a group.
