Description
1. GRANTHAM ROAD 5312 (North Side) TF 0645 - 0745 --------------- 2/112B Sleaford East Signal Box II GV 2. - Railway Signal Box. c1882. Built for the Great Northern and Great Eastern Joint Rail- way. Red brick and wood, with slate roofs and ornate barge boards with finials, plus a single external gable stack to the north. 2 storey, with a blank ground floor and a wooden external staircase at the south gable. The east front has 4 sets of large 3 light sliding sashes above, and the remnants of an iron balcony. Included for group value only. Listing NGR: TF0687845398
