Description
ASGARBY AND HOWELL HOWELL ROAD TF 14 NW (south side) 3/14 Boughton House G.V. II House. Late C18, altered mid C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, limestone ashlar dressings, slate roof with raised stone coped gables, 2 gable stacks. 3 storey, 3 bay front with plinth, first and second floor cill bands, rusticated quoins, cyma moulded eaves band and plain parapet. Central 6 panelled double doors up 4 ashlar steps, traceried fanlight. Covered by a wooden porch supported on Doric pillars with moulded ashlar bases, plain entablature. Flanked by single 2 storey canted bays containing central glazing bar sashes to each floor with hipped slate roofs. To first floor a single central glazing bar sash and to second floor 3 similar smaller windows. The windows have splayed ashlar lintels. Listing NGR: TF1232645595
