Description
TF 03 NE ASWARBY AND SWARBY ASWARBY PARK 7/3 Rose Pergola, G.V. II Rose pergola. Mid C19. Built as part of Aswarby Park Estate for the Whichcote family. Red brick and limestone ashlar. The pergola consists of some 50 tall circular brick piers with pyramidal limestone copings. To the centre are a pair of taller square piers with ball finials, and to either end are groups of 4 matching piers. Listing NGR: TF0668339944
