SK 97 SW SKELLINGTHORPE LOWER CHURCH ROAD 2/37 Tomb in St Lawrence Churchyard GV II Table tomb. 1694. Ashlar. Flat topped rectangular tomb of Henry Stone, with acanthus leaf decoration at the corners, and inscription on side which reads "The Governors of Christs Hospital in London have caused this Tomb to be erected in Memory of their Munificent Benefactor HENRY STONE Esq late deceased ANNO 1694". Surrounded by C19 wrought iron railings. Tomb located 50 yds south of Church porch. Listing NGR: SK9253072073
