LINCOLN SK9772SE WEST BIGHT 1941-1/7/399 (East side) 08/10/53 Mint Wall (Formerly Listed as: WEST BIGHT (South East side) Section of Roman City wall) I Section of Roman wall, probably the north wall of a basilica on the north side of the forum. c100, excavated 1980, restored 1991. Coursed rubble with tile bonding courses, putlog holes, and a renewed pantile coping. Approx. 20m long and up to 5m high. Scheduled Ancient Monument, County No.18. (Buildings of England : Lincolnshire: Pevsner N: Lincolnshire: London: 1989-: 440 & 516). Listing NGR: SK9758972004
