LINCOLN SK9771NE MINSTER YARD 1941-1/9/232 (East side) 08/10/53 Nos.10, 10A AND 10B Choristers' House (Formerly Listed as: MINSTER YARD (East side) Nos.10,10A AND 10G The Choristers' House) GV II Choristers' house, now 3 houses. 1661, altered 1887, with additions c1900. Dressed stone and brick, with plain tile roof. 2 rear wall stacks with triple flues set diagonally. Cogged brick first floor band, brick coped parapet and gables. 2 storeys plus attics, 4 bays. L-plan. Windows are C19, with wooden mullions or cross mullions, and wooden cornices. Front, double gabled, has to left a 4-centred arched doorcase with hoodmould, and part-glazed weatherstripped door. To its right, 3 windows, that to the right with a segmental head. Above, 4 windows. Above again, in each gable peak, a single 3-light window. INTERIOR refitted late C19.
