LINCOLN SK9871NW LINDUM ROAD 1941-1/10/206 (East side) 15/08/73 No.25 Adam and Eve Public House (Formerly Listed as: LINDUM ROAD (East side) Adam and Eve Tavern) GV II Public house. Late C17, with C18, C19 and C20 additions. Coursed rubble, whitewashed, with steep pitched pantile roof, with catslide roof at rear, and 2 ridge and single side wall stacks. 2 storeys plus attics, 5 bays. South front has a central gabled brick addition, rendered, with 4 casements and a bow window, C20. To its right, a glazed lean-to room. To its left, a C20 bay window and a door in the return angle. Above, 2 small casements. Above again, a near-central segment headed dormer. West gable has two C20 3-light casements. Above, to the right, a single C19 2-light casement on each floor. INTERIOR has the remains of the former west gable with a chamfered fireplace surround. Chamfered spine beams and cleft joists. Listing NGR: SK9806471690
