Description

This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 7 March 2022 to correct roofing material and to reformat the text to current standards. 1844/0/10009 SCAMBLESBY MAIN ROAD Firsby Lodge II Cottage. Late C18, extended mid C19 with minor C20 alterations. Mud and stud with clay pantile roof (replacing a thatched roof) extension built of brick with pantile roof. Two brick chimney stacks. Main front has off-centre doorway with C20 half-glazed door, to right a single plain sash and to left a C20 casement window, above two dormer windows each with a two-light casement. Addition to right has a canted wooden bay window and above a single C20 casement.
