Description
TF 35 SW CARRINGTON WEST FEN LANE 7/12 Bridge over Twenty Foot Drain II Road bridge. c.1812, under the direction of John Rennie. C20 restorations. Red brick with ashlar dressings. Basket arch with red brick band over. Bowed swept walls terminating in single square piers. Ashlar coped parapet. Some C20 red brick. patching. The east half of this bridge is in Carrington parish. The west half in Westville parish. The area was drained and enclosed by the engineer John Rennie 1802-12. Source: Wright. Listing NGR: TF3033052793
