LANGTON BY SPILSBY CHURCH LANE TF 37 SE Langton (north side) 3/40 The Round House (formerly listed as Langton Cottage 3.2.67 Lodge) G.V. II CottageOrnee. Early C19. Whitewashed mud and stud. Brick plinth. Conical thatched roof with overhanging eaves supported on wooden posts and forming a verandah. Single central stack. Octagonal plan. Single storey plus attic. Doorway with 6 fielded panel door. 5 of the remaining sides with single pointed arched windows. Each window being a Yorkshire sash with 2 pointed arched lights and lead lozenge glazing bars. In the attic are 2 roof dormers each with single similar window. To the rear is a single storey, 2 bay extension. Listing NGR: TF3912170437
