Description
SAUSTHORPE LANGTON LANE TF 36 NE (east side) 7/54 Stable block at Sausthorpe Hall G.V. II Stable block. c.1822. Whitewashed brick. Hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves. Set on a plinth. First floor band. 2 storeys, 8 bays. The central 2 bays slightly project and are gabled. 2 carriage archways with key and impost blocks. Either side are 2 doorways with plank doors and cambered arched overlights. Further left and right are single cambered arched glazing bar casements. Above are 4 cambered arched pivotal casements with single central cambered arched doorway. In the apex is a single roundel. Attached to the left is a lean-to. Included for group value only.
