Description
LEGBOURNE MAIN STREET TF 38 SE (north side) 5/20 Pump G.V. II Pump. 1877. Limestone ashlar. Square plan. Low square plinth with rounded stones at each corner. High stepped plinth above with spout in west side with small semi-circular trough below. Plaque above inscribed: "Erected in memory of a very dear mother by the vicar of this parish for the free use of his parishoners and all wayfarers. A.D. 1877." Biblical inscriptions inscribed above on all 4 sides. Cusped pointed opening above on all 4 sides, each set under finial led gable. Corner pinnacles rise from ornate band with central spire with finial. Listing NGR: TF3678484376
