Description
TF 2057-2157 TATTERSHALL MARKET SQUARE (west side) 10/63 (No 13) Lodge House (Formerly listed as 14.9.66 house occupied by Mr Mayfield) G.V. II House. Early C18, altered C19, C20. Red brick in Flemish bond, with ashlar dressings, deep stone plinth, C19 slate roof and 2 brick gable stacks. 2 storey, 6 bay front with rusticated quoins and ashlar first floor band. Central half glazed doors with plain overlight having to left 3 and to right 2 glazing bar sashes, all with brick segmental heads. To first floor 6 C20 2 light glazing bar casements to eaves. On the roof ridge is a ceramic C14 louvre in the form of a gabled house, known as "Tom Thumb's House". Listing NGR: TF2120757890
