Description
TF 27 SE WEST ASHBY MAIN STREET (west side) 2/146 The Hollies with attached hand pump G.V. II Cottage with hand pump. Mid C18, C20. Mud and stud encased in red brick and colourwashed red brick. Thatched roof covered in pantiles with weatherboarded overhanging eaves and gable stacks. Single storey and attic, 4 bay front with doorway to left in C20 gabled wooden and brick, partially glazed porch with glazing bar door. 2 three light casements to right, single 3 light casement to left, all with central fixed glazing bars flanked by single narrow casements, and segmental heads. Hand pump situated between the windows to the right, with painted, wooden rectangular case with long iron hangle to north, and small spout to east. Single gabled dormer above with ornate bargeboards and 2 light casement. C18 brick of return walls raised in C20 brick and with C20 fenestration. Listing NGR: TF2662172500
