TF 2569 HORNCASTLE off ST. LAWRENCE STREET Dog Kennel Yard (east side) Roman Wall (formerly listed under 6/89 Dog Yard) 7.12.66 I Section of north curtilage wall and north-east bastion of Roman settlement. Late C3-mid C4. Spilsby sandstone rubble. Rubble core of north-east bastion approx. 3 metres high and of the same build as a lower setion of curtilage wall running northwards, exposed for approximately 2 metres.
