Description
TF 2669 HORNCASTLE NORTH STREET (east side) 7/64 Old Nick's Tavern G.V. II Coaching inn, now wine bar. Late C18, mid C19, C20. Colourwashed brick, some colourwashed render. Pantile roof with stone coped gables and single ridge stack. 3 storey, 5 bay front with first floor band. Doorway to right with moulded doorcase, entablature, small hood, overlight and panelled door. Doorway flanked by single plain sashes with wedge lintels, segmental heads and margin lights. That to left with C20 hood blind. Blocked window to left with segmental head and wedge lintel, with plain sash beyond with flat head and C20 hood blind. Carriage archway to left with segmental head. Blind opening above with segmental head. Plain sash to left with wedge lintel and margin lights. Glazing bar sash to right with segmental head. Plain sash beyond with wedge lintels and margin lights. A blind opening above to left with segmental head. Glazing bar sash to left, 2 glazing bar sashes to right, all with segmental heads. Listing NGR: TF2603469670
