Description
TF 2669 HORNCASTLE EAST STREET (south side) 7/39 Nos. 40 and 42 G.V. II 2 houses. c.1825, mid C19. Chequered red brick. Concrete tiled roof with moulded brick eaves, gable stacks and single ridge stacks. 2 storey, 6 bay front with doorway to left with triple roll moulded doorcase, entablature, moulded cornice, overlight and panelled door. Doorway flanked by single glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. Semi-circular mid C19 bow window to the right with 3 glazing bar sashes and plain entablature. Doorway beyond with triple roll moulded doorcase, entablature, moulded cornice, overlight and panelled door. Single glazing bar sash to right with segmental head. 5 glazing bar sashes above with segmental heads. Listing NGR: TF2617169552
