Description
TF 38 SE LITTLE CAWTHORPE WATER LANE (South East, off) 1844/5/10006 Waterside Bungalow II Prefabricated bungalow. Late C19. Wooden framed with corrugated iron cladding and shallow hipped corrugated iron roofs with ornate iron finials. " brick chinmey stacks. Single storey. Rectangular plan with continuous verandah around all four sides supported on 4 wooden poles to each side all with brackets. Entrance front has cenral doorway with half-glazed door flanked by single pairs of French windows. Left return has 3 sets of French windows., and right return has three 2-light casement windows with glazing bars. Rear has single casement window and an external brick stack. This rare prefabricated bungalow was almost certainly manufactured by Boulton & Paul for the tropical Empire market. Listing NGR: TF3592883990
