Description
BURGH LE MARSH THE MARKET PLACE TF 56 N (west side) The Fleece Inn 2/21 G.V. II 2 houses, now inn. Late C18, early C19, C20. Thickly rendered, colourwashed brick with painted stucco dressings. Pantile roofs, that of house to left is slightly higher; continuous C19 moulded wooden eaves, gable stacks and single ridge stack. 2 storeys, 6 bay front with painted plinth. 3 bays to right of late C18; 3 bays to left, early C19. Doorway to right with pilastered doorcase with panelled reveal, entablature, overlight and panelled door. Doorway flanked by single glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. Doorway to left with stucco wedge lintel with voussoirs and partially glazed panelled door. This doorway is also flanked by single glazing bar sashes with cambered heads. 6 glazing bar sashes above. The 3 to the right being smaller. Listing NGR: TF5013165141
