Description
TF 26 SE MAREHAM LE FEN MAIN STREET (north side) 3/34 The Royal Oak II Public house. C17, extended C18, altered C20. Mud and stud, rendered, partially underbuilt in colourwashed brick and painted brick. Half hipped thatched roof and pantile to rear. T-plan, with later rear wing. Single storey plus attics, 5 bay front, having off-centre planked door flanked by single plain casements with to left a further planked door and a similar window. In the roof a gabled dormer having single light and rendered cheeks. To the rear a single gable stack and stone coped gable with pantile roof. Interior retains chamfered girders and wall posts.
