Description
SOUTH OMRSBY CUM KETSBY off MAIN STREET TF 37 NE (east side) 1/26 Manor Farmhouse 3.2.67 II Farmhouse. c.1660, altered C19 and C20. Red brick in English bond, concrete tiled roof, tumbled gables, gable stacks, one with brick rib. Cross plan. 2 storey plus garret, 7 bay front with plinth, dogtoothed first floor and eaves band. The central bay is advanced and gabled to form a tapering 3 storey porch, with brick coped gable and kneelers. Central elliptical arched outer doorway with half glazed inner door in stepped reveals. Blocked side lights. To either side are 3 glazing bar sashes in arched openings with C20 brick infilling to head. To first floor are 5 similar windows, one blocked, with flat brick heads. In the porch are single narrower windows to each floor. To the rear is a similar 3 storey projection presumably originally containing the stair. Listing NGR: TF3724575412
