LANGTON BY SPILSBY CHURCH LANE TF 37 SE Langton (north side) 3/39 The Old Rectory G.V. II Rectory, now house. Mid C18 with early C19 extension and mid C19. Architect William Pickering. Red brick. Hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves. Single right and front and 2 rear red brick stacks. First floor band to right 5 bays. 2 storeys, 6 bays. The left single bay is C19 and projects. Mid C19 brick porch with parapet and dentil band. Entrance with hood mould. Inner glazed and panelled door. To the right are 3 sashes and to the left a single similar sash. On the far left is a single glazing bar sash. Above are 5 similar sashes and on the far left a single similar glazing bar sash. All sashes except the first floor single left are under segmental arches. There are 7 tie plates. Pevsner, N. The Buildings of England, Lincolnshire. Listing NGR: TF3900670476
