Description
ANDERBY RECTORY LANE TF 57 NW (south side) 4/53 The Rectory II Rectory. 1852 by George Abbott, builder. Yellow brick with ashlar dressings, hipped Westmoreland slate roof and 2 wall stacks. 2 storey, 3 bay front with plinth, pilasters and heavily moulded cornice. Central half glazed double doors covered by pedimented porch, with outer basket arch, flanked by single glazing bar sashes. To first floor are 3 similar windows, all of which have slightly advanced brick surrounds, ashlar sills and lintels, the lower windows have bracketted cornices. Listing NGR: TF5234975395
