Description
SALTFLEETBY ST.PETERS MANBY ROAD TF 48 NW (north side) 9/58 Prospect Tower G.V. II Gazebo. c.1812. Possibly by Sir Jeffry Wyattville. Brick with ashlar dressings. Square plan with giant order round arches on each side with ashlar imposts and raised keystones. Doorway to west with round head and blind traceried panelled door. Ashlar string course above with pilaster buttresses defining corners of second stage. Single dummy window on each side with painted glazing bars. Buttresses rise to corner turrets and octagonal third stage with single oculi on north, south and east sides. Ashlar string course and coped parapet. Staircase in fragmentary condition inside.
