Description
TF 47 SE FARLESTHORPE BRICKYARD LANE (south side) 1/17 Brick Kiln II Former brick kiln, now store. Mid C19, extended late C19. Brown/orange brick, pantile roofs. Scotch kiln. Single storey with externally battered walls, rectangular opening to kiln chamber with timber lintel. 8 stoke holes and pent roofed stoking chambers to each side. In the opposite end is an arched opening. Farlesthorpe yellow bricks were used in the locality during C19. Listing NGR: TF4799573943
