Description
TF 46 NW SCREMBY GREBBY 4/48 Grebby Hall II House. C17, extended and altered mid C18, early C19, late C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, hipped concrete tile and slate roofs, ridge stacks to rear. L-plan. 2 storey with garret, 3 bay front, having plinth, the centre bay slightly advanced. Central 6 panel double doors with traceried fanlight, open pedimented pilastered doorcase, flanking glazing bar sash sidelights. To either side are flanking 2 storey canted bay windows, rebuilt late C19, with hipped slate roofs. Over the door a tripartite sash with late C19 dentillated and pedimented cornice on scrolled brackets. Side front has plinth, first and second floor brick bands, glazing bar sashes. Interior. Retains C17 chamfered and stopped beam in rear range. Stick baluster stair with carved string and wreathed handrail. Listing NGR: TF4372168699
