Description
BOLINGBROKE MAIN STREET TF 36 NW (north side) 2/31 The Old Hall 3.2.67 II House. Early C17, altered and refronted late C18. Red and cream chequered brickwork, red brick, hipped Welsh slate roof, 2 brick wall and single ridge stacks. Brick dentillated eaves course. 2 storey, 3 bay front with central 4 panel door up 3 steps, with slender Tuscan porch. Flanked by single margin light Venetian sash windows. To first floor single similar windows flank a semi-circular headed margin light sash. All windows have stucco arched heads. To left a 2 storey, 2 bay service wing with glazing bar sashes, which contains some earlier C17 brickwork in English bond. Interior retains stick baluster stair with wreathed handrail.
