Description
RAMSGATE 1. 1348 (East Side) Louth Railway Station TF 38 NW 1/180 II 2. 1854. Victorian Tudor. Main block of one storey in red brick with stone dressings. Parapet with ball finials on pilasters, string course. Welsh slate roof. Tall cylindrical chimney stacks, paired or grouped. Centre stack over moulded gable with round window in carved surround. 2 round-arched windows, centre flat, wood mullions. Carved stone porch of 3 bays with carved parapet with 4 ball finials. Side windows are 4-light mullion and transoms, stone frames. Door to left in round-arched surround with block rustication. End pavilions break forward. 2 storeys with moulded gables, stone pilasters at quoins with ball finials. One 4-light over a 6-light window. Stone-capped plinth. Listing NGR: TF3332187923
