Description
BOSTON TF3244SE WIDE BARGATE 716-1/7/216 (South East side) 14/02/75 Nos.23 AND 25 (Formerly Listed as: WIDE BARGATE (South East side) Nos.19 TO 25 (Odd)) GV II 2 shops. Late C18, altered C19 and C20. Red brick, part colourwashed and part rendered. Westmorland slate roof with coped gables and central ridge stack. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 4-bay front, wooden dentilled cornice. 2 C20 shop fronts to ground floor. To 1st floor a pair of plain sashes set in tall blank semicircular recesses, and to right a pair of tall plain sashes with decorative cast-iron balconies. To 2nd floor 2 smaller casements and 2 smaller plain sashes to right. INTERIOR: not inspected. Listing NGR: TF3298144321
