Description
BOSTON TF3344NW SPILSBY ROAD 716-1/5/183 (North West side) 30/05/90 Nos.72 AND 74 GV II Pair of houses. Late c1830s. Yellow stock brick with painted ashlar dressings. Hipped slate roof with central ridge stack. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus basement, 4-bay front arranged as a handed pair, with brick plinth and overhanging eaves with paired brackets. To either side of the front is a 2-panel door up a flight of stone steps, with plain overlight set in plain pilastered surround with cornice and lead hood. To the centre 2 glazing bar sashes to the basement, 2 wider similar ground floor windows and 4 similar narrower 1st floor windows. All openings have cambered splayed rusticated painted stone lintels.
