Description
LINCOLN SK9771SW NEWLAND 1941-1/11/293 (South side) 08/07/91 No.64 GV II House, now a day nursery. Late C18 and mid C19, altered late C20. Brick with stone dressings and slate roof with ridge stack and 2 external side walls stacks. Moulded eaves cornice, brick eaves to east, flat coped parapet. 2 storeys, 4 bays. L-plan. Windows are plain sashes with rubbed brick heads. North front has to right a panelled doorcase with pilasters and hood on brackets, part-glazed door and fanlight. To left, 2 sashes. Above the door, a smaller sash, and to its left, 2 larger sashes. To right, a smaller sash on each floor, and above them, a still smaller one. Hipped rear wing, 3 storeys, has segment headed glazing bar sashes to west. West gable rebuilt c1994 as result of demolition of No.66. INTERIOR not inspected. Listing NGR: SK9721271338
