Description
BOSTON TF3244SE MARKET PLACE 716-1/7/114 (West side) 14/02/75 Nos.45-50 (Consecutive) GV II Terrace of 6 houses now shops. Early C19, minor C20 alterations. Colourwashed brick, hipped slate roof, stacks to rear ranges. Curved frontage. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 12-bay front, 2 windows to each shop. 1st floor with continuous sill band, small dentilled wooden eaves cornice. C20 shop fronts, except to No.50 which is late C19 with cornice with cornice and narrow pilasters. Pairs of sash windows to upper floors, Nos 45 & 46 with glazing bars, No 50 has plain casements. Smaller upper windows are plain sashes or casements. Nos 45 & 46 have a full attic storey behind the ridge line of the front block. North return of No.50 has flush panelled door, plain fanlight, fluted surround with semicircular head. INTERIOR: not inspected. Listing NGR: TF3274844126
