Description

BOSTON TF3243NE HIGH STREET 716-1/10/57 (West side) 14/02/75 No.107 GV II House. 1718. Red brick in Flemish bond, old plain tiled roof, brick coped tumbled gables, L-form gable stack. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys plus cellar and attic, 2-bay front, with 1st and 2nd floor brick bands, and ashlar coped parapet. To right a 6-panel door up 3 steps, with contemporary door knocker. Traceried overlight with pedimented narrow pilastered surround. To each floor are 2 glazing bar sashes with flat brick wedge lintels. Upper windows are smaller divided sashes. Single leaded dormer behind parapet. To left a cast hopper and downpipe, dated 1718, with emblem. To rear a lower steeply pitched wing with tall stack. INTERIOR: retains wide dogleg stair with turned balusters. Full height panelling to rear 1st floor room. Listing NGR: TF3272343527
