Description
BOSTON TF3243NE HIGH STREET 716-1/10/52 (West side) 14/02/75 Nos.83, 85 AND 87 GV II Terrace of 3 houses. Mid C18, with C19 alterations. Red brick, partly painted, lined stucco to ground floor, Welsh slate roof with single brick coped gable and stack, and rendered ridge stack. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attics, 6-bay front arranged 2:2:2, with dentilled wooden eaves cornice. Brick first floor band. No.83 has a 6-panel door with plain overlight and 2 plain sashes to the left. No.85 has a half-glazed panel door with plain overlight and 2 plain sashes to right. No.87 has a C19 half-glazed door with plain overlight, set in door surround with narrow panelled pilasters, carved console brackets and moulded cornice and single sash to left. To 1st floor a pair of plain sashes with segmental brick heads to each house. In the roof a single dormer to each house with a segmental lead roof and lead cheeks. INTERIOR: not inspected.
