Description

SK 97 SW DODDINGTON AND WHISBY MAIN STREET 2/24 (west side) 23.8.67 The Little House (formerly Stables to Doddington Hall) GV II Stable block, now used as Tea Room. C16. Brick with stone dressings. Pantile ridge roof with brick coped gables, single gable stack plus 2 brick ridge stacks, with 4 circular rubbed brick pots each. Two-storey 6 bays. Four, 3-light mullioned windows with iron casements, and 2 segment-headed doors below. Above 6, 3-light mulliond windows with iron casements. All openings have plain chamfered stone surrounds.
