Description
SWINSTEAD HIGH STREET TF 0022-0122 (north side) 15/222 No.16 G.V. II House. C17 with late C18 and mid C19 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings, pantile mansard roof having raised stone coped gables, 2 gable stacks, one stone and one brick. 2 storey, 3 bay front with central half glazed door flanked by single 3 light casement windows. to first floor 2 similar windows with central 2 light casement. All windows have chamfered timber lintels and mullions. An earlier pattern of fenestration can be seen in the stonework. Listing NGR: TF0180922511
