Description
TF 2569 HORNCASTLE THE MARKET PLACE (north side) 6/58 No.8, (Horncastle Farmers' Club) G.V. II Posting Inn, now Farmers' Club. c.1860, C20. Red brick, limestone ashlar dressings. Slate roof with gable stacks. 3 storey, 3 bay front with carriage arch to right with ashlar dressed basket arch, raised keystone and double plank doors. Doorway to left with ashlar wedge lintel and raised keystone, glazed door with overlight and single narrow flanking lights. Tripartite glazing bar sash to left. 3 glazing bar sashes above, with 3 glazing bar sashes above them. All with ashlar wedge lintels with voussoirs. Included for group value only.
