Description
MORTON MORTON NORTH DROVE TF 12 SE (north side) 10/162 Engine House at Engine Farm II Engine house for fen drainage. Early C19, late C19, early C20 . Colourwashed brick. Slate roofs with modillioned eaves. 3 bay west front including late C19 bay to north and with raised gabled central bay with semi-circular window with fixed glazing bars and radiating spokes. Doorway to left with semi-circular head and plank door. Oculus with radiating spokes above in central gable. South side with central semi-circular headed doorway with plank door. East side with central raised and gabled bay with central doorway with semi-circular head, overlight and double plank doors. Window to left with fixed glazing bars and semi-circular relieving arch above. Doorway to right with wooden lintel, semi- circular relieving arch above and double plank doors. Oculus with radiating spokes above in central gable. Ruston-Hornsby deisel engine intact inside. Listing NGR: TF1506524631
