Description
TF 34 SE BUTTERWICK CHURCH ROAD (south side) 12/14 The Old Brewhouse II House. C17, altered C18, with minor C19 and C20 alterations. Red brick, pantile roof with moulded brick kneeler. Single ridge brick stack and later wall stack. Lobby entry plan. 2 storey, 5 bay front with first floor band and corbelled out eaves. Central planked door flanked by single glazing bar sashes. To first floor 5 similar windows, 4 to eaves. The central one matching the ground floor openings with brick segmental heads. To the right an advanced later single storey, single bay block. The right hand gable has a brick band which rises over a margin light sash. The roadside elevation has a dogtooth eaves course, 3 glazing bar sashes and a small now blocked window, by the stack, with segmental head. Interior has inglenook fireplace with arched bressumer, and chamfered beams with fine shield shaped stops. Listing NGR: TF3870244846
