Description
TF 24 SW SWINESHEAD MAIN ROAD (south side) 4/78 Bridge House (formerly listed as 26.1.67 Gibbethill House) II House. Mid C18, extended mid C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, slate roof with stone coped tumbled gables and 2.gable brick stacks. 2 storey 5 bay front with dentillated wooden eaves cornice. Central 6 panel door with fanlight, set in plain pilastered pedimented doorcase, flanked by pairs of glazing bar sashes. To first floor 5 similar windows. All windows have splayed rubbed brick arches with painted keystones. To left a lower 2 storey single bay service range and to right an added C19 2 bay single storey range with dogtoothed parapet, and 2 three light C20 casments. Listing NGR: TF2163443015
