Description
This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 08/06/2017 Name and address changed from Church Cottage, West Street to 35A (The Old Reading Room) and 35 Market Place. Opening sentence of description amended to 'Formerly three cottages.' from '3 cottages now cottage.' FOLKINGHAM WEST STREET TF 0633-0733 (north side) 2/101 Church Cottage G.V. II 3 cottages, now cottage. Early C18, C20. Limestone rubble. Pantile and concrete tiled, steeply pitched roofs with single gable, ridge and lateral stacks. L-plan. 2 storey and attic, 4 bay west front with blocked doorway to right with 2 C20 casements to left, single C20 casement to right. 2 two light sliding sashes to left, C20 casements to right, all the windows with wooden lintels. South side of no interest. Included for group value only. Listing NGR: TF0717633683
