Description
This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 08/06/2017 Address changed from 36, The Market Place to 36 Market Place. FOLKINGHAM THE MARKET PLACE TF 0633-0733 (east side) 2/90 No.36 30.10.68 G.V. II House. Late C18, C20. Red brick, painted ashlar dressings. Pantile roof with stone coped gable to south with gable stack. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bay front with ashlar dressed plinth, first floor band and quoins. Central doorway with round head, plain doorcase, traceried fanlight and panelled door. Doorway flanked by single 4 light C20 casements with moulded cornices. 3 C20 cross mullion casements above with serpentine lintels and raised keystones. 2 large C20 dormer windows with 4 light casements.
